Spiralling deep into her dreams, a young woman embarks on a grotesque journey through the stereotypes and elements of horror films.
What she finds has the ability to transform her into a grotesque being. Her mind and body left opened, has let the world, animal and object blend into her, so what is left has little resemblance to the girl she was before.
Her subconscious oozes into the world letting everyone around her feel what she feels when they look at her.
The elements of Horror; SUSPENSE, FEAR, VIOLENCE, GORE and THE SUPERNATURAL, merge within her until she can no longer distinguish whether she is the monster or the hero. But here in her dream world, she finds a beauty within the nightmarish figure she was forced to become.
Follow along on this young woman’s disgusting journey, as she changes into a monstrous hero, in skins that are not her own, made of the flesh of animals and sewn clumsily together. In an instant her journey will shift to show the wounds from head to toe as she has tried to escape from the woods with a killer at her toes. Just as quickly as it shifts, it will shift again to her human/tentacle/plant form that wears her organs on her outsides.

discarded couch foam dipped in prosthetic silicones and then stitched to harder couch foam, then beaded with pearls and glass beads.

The rasher dress was created with 2 different types of couch foam from a couch discarded on the side of the road. the hard foam, and foam that is stuck and glued in the leather. I dyed some of the foam and then dipped it in red gelatine plastic to imitate blood.
